Older adults · Mobility · Autonomy

Aging with more autonomy in movement.

The goal is not to do more for the sake of doing it. It's keeping the body available for life: getting up, walking, balancing, climbing, carrying, breathing and trusting in one's own movement again. Functional longevity appears in simple daily gestures.

How care works

Functional strength while respecting each rhythm.

The service allows you to work on balance, mobility and strength without rushing, with safety and presence. Pilates can be individual or in pairs; physiotherapy is individual.

Each session considers pain history, surgeries, fear of falling, medications, routine and practical objectives. The body is trained for real tasks, not just repeating pretty exercises.

The progression is technical and careful: stability first, possible range, functional strength and confidence. Autonomy is treated as part of health.

Objectives

Movement to support daily life.

The focus is on aging with more bodily resources, not with unrealistic demands.

i.

Balance

Stability and postural reaction training to reduce insecurity in movements.

ii.

Mobility

Spine, hips, shoulders and ankles more available for the day's tasks.

iii.

Strength gain

Functional strengthening, progressive and adapted to each person's history.

Before scheduling

Common questions about seniors and movement.

No. The care starts from the person's current state, with individual progression and adapted exercises.
The work may include balance, functional strength, mobility and safety when moving, always based on assessment.
In Classical Pilates, sessions can be individual or in pairs, depending on need. In physiotherapy, care is individual.
It depends on the assessment and the framework. The session is adapted to work on possible movement, comfort and function, respecting medical guidelines when applicable.
Initial assessment

The first step is to understand your moment.

Send a message telling the main objective: balance, strength, mobility, pain or autonomy. The assessment defines the best start.
