Continuity of care at home, with attention to the mother's real routine.
Resumption of postural adjustment with manual care and practical guidance.
Gradual introduction of light therapeutic exercises.
Specific assessment of the abdominal wall and initiation of re-education.
Continuity of strengthening, posture and prevention of overloads.
General review of the evolution and consolidation of final care.
The program is individualized, humanized and based on experience clinic, respecting the woman's body in a phase of great change.
The objectives include reducing edema and discomfort, assisting in functional recovery, prevent pain and overload, recover body awareness, support the re-education of abdominal diastasis and promote postpartum safety.
The program can be presented to obstetricians and gynecologists as option of physiotherapeutic support in the postpartum period, without replacing medical monitoring or conduct indicated by the responsible team.
